The Paris Wife

For February book club I read The Paris Wife. It was an interesting book, I wouldn't say that it was my all time favorite. But I loved reading about Pairs in the 20's and southern France. It made me miss the lazy days I spent in southern France by the pool and the mediterranean sea. The hard part was watching Hemingway's 1st wife not stand up for her self and be complacent when another woman was moving in on her man. It also seemed strange to me that the took all these excursions to the alps and other places when they were always complaining of not having enough money. The book was some what disappointing and I'm not sure I would read it again but it makes me want to re-read some of Hemigway's works.
